ARIZONA, December 27 - Bullhead City Fire Department investigated an aprtment fire fatality. It's not often that there is a fatal fire, and no fire trucks respond. A manager of an apartment went to check on a resident only to find the 68 year-old women, deceased. The women died in an apartment fire. A fire caused by her smoking in bed, and a fire that burned it self out. There was a lot of smoke damage to the entire apartment, however, the fire damage was limited to the bed and a small area around the bed. No neighbors heard the smoke detector before it was melted by the fire's heat.
